Red5 IDE Plugin Update!!!

Red5 Developers:

I’ve been hard at work on some features that I think will help the learning curve for beginner Red5 developers. Don’t worry all you Red5 pro’s, I’ll be working on advanced features soon after the first release. Again, any comments, motivational reply’s, and or suggestions are always welcome! Drumming up support through your blogs is welcome too ;) . Cheers!

New Features:

  • Clientside Flex code generation
  • Clientside Connection code

  3. Hi Dominick,

I’ve been playing with the Red5 IDE Eclipse plug-in today but I’m afraid I’ve had a few problems getting the server side app to run properly. I think its an amazing app though and look forward to future versions.

I thought it might be helpful if I tried to explain how far I got and the problems I ran into in a blog post, that way hopefully you could spot any problems and newbies could read it to avoid any pitfalls.

If you can see anything that I may’ve got wrong I’d be happy to try resolving it and would obviously share the info with other newbies.

    thanks
    rob
